We, at Evergreen Academy Middle School, ensure that students are prepared to collaborate, innovate, and apply skills for chosen career fields in an environment guided by the middle school values of academic excellence, social equity, developmental responsiveness, and a positive organizational structure. We work to develop and sustain strong leadership that facilitates a collaborative and safe environment with a rigorous, integrated, standards-based curriculum. Our School Remembers 9/11

Our school came together for a moving assembly to remember and reflect on 9/11. Mrs. Strok and Ms. Polak shared a powerful presentation, reminding us all why this day remains so significant in our history. They emphasized a message we will carry forward: "Always Remember, Never Forget." It's a day to honor the heroes, remember the lives lost, and reflect on the resilience of our nation. Let's continue to uphold the values of unity and compassion.

STEAM Fun with LED Lights!

This week, our students became engineers! They built working flashlights from scratch using LED lights, copper tape, and popsicle sticks. It was incredible to see them apply what they've learned about circuits to create something so cool. We're so proud of their hard work and creativity!

Imagination Theater- Someone Else's Shoes

Thank you to Imagination Theater for their amazing performance of "Someone Else's Shoes" today! Our students learned so much about empathy and how to connect with their peers. The show was a great way to help our students become "empathy superheroes" and was a perfect link to help them "Make a Difference". Lego Habitats in STEAM

Our young engineers were hard at work this week! Using LEGOs, they designed and built habitats for imaginary creatures. This was a fantastic, hands-on lesson in the engineering design process and problem-solving. #STEMed #LEGOlearning #EngineeringForKids #Makerspace
